Cargo Restraints |
/cargo1.jpg) |
Manufactured to EN 12195-2:2001 from the finest
quality, high tenacity polyester webbing,
with the ability to sustain a force of up
to 5000 kg at a standard popular width of
50mm.
Alternative ratchet systems allow
capacities between 500 kg and 10,000 kg, webbing widths
varying between 25mm to 75mm.
Attachment can be either chassis
to chassis over the load or alternatively
applied direct to the load, a preferred
configuration for irregular shaped heavy
cargoes reducing undesired movement.
A
number of systems are available in
varying lengths with a choice of end
fittings, as illustrated. Standard
systems are usually 8 metre or 10 metre
in length, fitted with either claw hooks
or delta links according to preference.
The use of sliding wear sleeves and
corner protectors are always recommended. |

| Webbing Winches |
 |
Also used with webbing
straps, they provide a fixed tensioning
method especially useful for
trans-continental shipments, container
freight and regular shaped consignments,
or simply as a precaution against
pilfering. |

| Chain Tensioners |
/loadstd.JPG) |
Sometimes referred to as
load binders, they operate on a simple
grab and cantilever action available for 6.5 - 12.5 mm lashing chain.
For
greater degrees of adjustment, mechanical
ratchet load binders are also available,
working on an opposite screw and thread
principle. Webbing tensioners fitted with
specially designed key plates, provide
infinite adjustment capabilities and
absorb shocks, allowing the chain to
remain under pre-tension throughout the
entire journey. |
